Welcome to Bookish and Awesome, a book blog that talks largely about Young Adult (YA) and Middle Grade (MG) titles.
*Coming of Age
I sometimes venture out to Dystopia, Fantasy, Paranormal and Adult Fiction but it is usually in a case-by-case basis.
I always, always strive to write as subjective and honest a review as possible. If I love a work or the author’s style, I sing all the praises I can muster. On the other hand, if I do not like a work, I attribute it to my personal preference and try to explicitly detail the reasons why, in a constructive, thoughtful manner. I will never compromise my integrity to give a positive review in exchange of a book, as I firmly believe it will perform a huge disservice to the blog and myself (both as a reviewer and as a person).
All reviews will be posted on Bookish and Awesome, as well as Goodreads and Amazon.com. They will also be promoted on Twitter and Tumblr.
